🌟 Job Vacancy: Senior Accountant
Darwin Accounting Services – Dubai
Seeking a qualified accountant with 3–5 years of UAE experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation, strong IFRS and UAE tax knowledge, and proficiency in leading accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage end-to-end accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
· Prepare, analyze, and finalize financial statements in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
· Lead and support external and internal audit processes; ensure timely preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
· Prepare and Oversee VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, including registration, return filing, reconciliation, and advisory support.
· Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control reviews.
· Maintain strong client relationships and provide professional advisory on accounting and tax matters.
· Supervise junior staff and ensure adherence to internal controls and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
· 3–5 years of UAE experience in Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation.
· Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax regulations.
· Proficient in accounting software (Odoo, QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho Books, or equivalent).
· Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills; able to multitask and work independently.
