The possum in the roof
It’s 2:13am.
There’s scratching above the bedroom.
You know it’s probably a possum but part of you thinks, “If I ignore it, perhaps it will sort itself out.”
Your unanswered retirement questions can feel a bit like that.
Do we have enough? When can we finish work? What happens between accessing super and qualifying for the Age Pension?
You can turn up the television, pull the doona over your head and promise to deal with it next year…
But the scratching usually continues.
The good news? A financial adviser is generally easier to contact than a possum catcher and far less likely to climb onto your roof.
