A quiet milestone. 🤍
Somewhere between university exams, influenza, Peach breaking her femur, client deadlines and trying to keep life moving, Evolve quietly turned one.
At the time, I didn't stop to celebrate.
Life was busy, work still needed to be done, and there always seemed to be something more urgent demanding my attention.
Looking back now, though, I think there's something quite fitting about that.
Because this first year of business hasn't been about perfectly timed milestones or big celebrations.
It's been about showing up.
It's been about learning, adapting and growing.
When I started Evolve, I wasn't just starting a bookkeeping business.
I wanted to build something that genuinely helps small business owners feel more confident with their numbers. A business that values relationships just as much as compliance. A place where clients feel supported, understood and never judged for asking questions.
Over the past twelve months I've had the privilege of working alongside incredible business owners, watching their businesses grow while continuing to grow alongside them.
I've also grown more than I ever expected.
I've balanced university, continued building my Bachelor of Business and Psychology, learned countless lessons, made mistakes, celebrated wins and discovered that running a business is one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.
To every client who has trusted me, every person who has referred Evolve, every family member and friend who has supported me, and everyone who quietly follows along here..
