Another settlement win from ARG Finance!

A lovely first-home couple came to me in August after finding their dream apartment. They weren’t eligible for the Home Guarantee Scheme due to their income being above the threshold, so we locked in a 90% loan including about $30K in LMI.

Then came the game changer, from 1 October, the government removed income caps for the HGS!

The challenge? Their property had to settle on 7 October, and their lender wasn’t a HGS participant. With no extension possible, we had to move fast.

Thanks to some serious teamwork (and an amazing BDM + lender support team), we got a new pre-approval under the HGS with another lender and settled on the day!

The best part? They saved around $30,000 in LMI and moved into their first home stress-free.
