The conversations at CFO Connect Symposium 2026 reinforced one thing: the role of the CFO continues to evolve in an increasingly complex and fast-changing business environment.
On 10 July, CPA Australia’s Singapore Division hosted the14th edition of this flagship symposium, bringing together close to 200 CFOs and senior finance leaders for a day of thought-provoking discussions, practical insights and meaningful networking centred on the theme, Navigating the CFO's Role for a High-Velocity World.
💡 The symposium opened with welcome remarks by Greg Unsworth FCPA (Aust.), Singapore Divisional President of CPA Australia, followed by a fireside chat featuring Alvin Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of National Development & Ministry of Trade and Industry.
Throughout the day, Elinor Kasapidis, our Chief of Policy, Standards & External Affairs, moderated engaging discussions with distinguished speakers, including Dennis Lee, Mabel Choo, Teck Kin SUAN, CFA 全德健, Samrat Bose, Yan Uhl , Helena Ooi, Mitchell Pham ONZM FCPA, Ronald Wong, Andrea Wong, Kok-Yong Ho, Jack Mullan and Norman Tan. Together, they explored key issues shaping the future of finance, including strategic resilience, the return on investment of AI, and how finance teams can prepare for the hybrid workforce of 2030.
