🚨 Attention Contractors: Make Sure You Report All Your Income! 🚨

The ATO is closely monitoring contractor income, and recent data matching has revealed that some contractors are still incorrectly reporting or omitting income.

If you're a contractor, especially in fields like construction, IT, cleaning, or security, businesses you work for must report your payments through the Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR). You must include these payments in your tax return.

The ATO is using data matching to identify discrepancies and may contact you to correct any omissions. If not addressed, penalties and interest could apply.
👉 Pro Tip: Always check your pre-filled TPAR amounts in your tax return to avoid missing income!
