Why an Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) License is the Most Recession-Proof Career for Commerce Graduate

The landscape of employment for business graduates in Bangladesh has reached a critical juncture. While thousands of students graduate each year with degrees in Accounting, Finance, and Management, the traditional job market is increasingly saturated. The Crisis of Graduate Unemployment

According to recent data from the Labour Force Survey (LFS) 2024, the unemployment rate among tertiary-educated youth in Bangladesh stands at approximately 13.5%. Reports suggest that of the nearly 2.6 million unemployed individuals in the country, approximately 1.38 million are graduates.

Business graduates, in particular, face a unique "skills mismatch."
