Students attending eligible universities, colleges, or other post-secondary institutions may be able to claim tuition fees and reduce their tax bill.

✔ Formal program of study
✔ Tuition fees for courses with exams
✔ Required textbooks and assignments

⚠ Important: Stand-alone certification exam fees usually do not qualify unless they are part of a program of study.

Make sure you keep your tuition receipts (T2202) and confirm your eligibility before filing your taxes.
