ross. I was educated at the University of Calgary, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in history. In 1999, I joined IG Wealth Management and went on to obtain my Certified Financial Planner designation, which is considered the highest certification in the financial services industry. In 2001 I joined with my mom’s (Judy) practice and acquired the business from her in 2007. The mentorship that my mom has provided was extremely helpful, focusing on strengthening client relationships. In 2011 my mom retired from the business. I regularly attend conferences and various educational sessions to keep up with industry trends. I am committed to giving back to this community and have been involved with the Mustard Seed as a tutor, Volunteer Calgary as a speaker, and Life Skills for Teens Program with the Optimists as a Chair and Facilitator. I am currently a volunteer reader for grade 1 and 2 at the Rosemont Elementary School and a member of the Parent Council at FE Osborne School. I have been a Toastmaster for almost two decades and am speaking coach at my church. I am a current board member for Friends Church. I have run for 10 straight years to raise money for the Alzheimer Society of Calgary.
