As most of you know I have been going through breast cancer treatments since February. From June 1st to July 11th I’ll be away in Halifax for radiation treatments.

This means that my office is going to be open by appointment only during this time.

DROP OF DEADLINE

April 25th will be my drop off deadline to ensure I can have all taxes that have been dropped off before this day filed by the first April 30th deadline.

If you expect a refund all is good to file after this day.

If you’re a self employed small business you have until June to file.

Corporations have 6 months from year end to file.

TAX FILING DEADLINES !!!

April 30th is not the only deadline to file taxes..look below for the details 👇🏼

If you are self employed... self employed businesses like mine,you have until MIDNITE JUNE 15. This includes your spouse.

Corporations-companies have 6 months after their year ends to file on time... example year end Dec 30,2005..u have to June 30 2006....
..If you are not one of the above and owe cra then they will soak u 5% of what you owe after April 30th.

The April 30th deadline is for employees who owe taxes or individuals who would like to receive GST, Child tax, GIS with no disruptions.

Our office is open Tuesday to Friday 10-4 as some of you know I am working from home more than the office but Alex is there to greet you and collect all documents and for pick up and payment.

Today we are getting our software updated and ready for the 2026 tax season!

This year I have a new granddaughter, Emery, assistant in training, got to start them young and teach them all we can!

Things may look a little different at the office this year but we are still here and ready to greet our clients with a smile.

Starting March 3rd Alex will be in the office Tuesday to Friday
10-4 for drop off and pick up’s.

I’ll still be at the office Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and working from my home office the rest of the week.
