After careful consideration, extensive research, and absolutely no input from management… I have decided that I am the Employee of the Month at ViaCFO.

The competition was tough, but somehow I came out on top. Must be an accounting thing; always making sure the numbers work in my favour.

Meet Madame President, ViaCFO’s 18-foot Bird of Paradise and arguably the most commanding presence in the office.

She joined our team shortly after we moved into our new space last year and has absolutely thrived in her sunny corner. Her recipe for success? Plenty of natural light, weekly watering, regular humidifier sessions, occasional cleanings, and no fear of taking up space.

Her leadership style is quiet but powerful: stay rooted, keep growing, and always reach for the light.

Madame President’s motto: “Grow boldly. Take up space. And always make room in the planter for another woman to rise.”

She may not say much in meetings, but she’s definitely setting the tone around here.

Meet Jasmine,

Jasmine joined the ViaCFO team over a year ago as an Accountant. Inspired by her love of math and problem-solving, she earned her CPA designation in the Philippines and is now working toward having it recognized in Canada.

One of Jasmine's favourite things about ViaCFO is the supportive environment, where women are encouraged to grow their careers and reach their full potential.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on road trips, watching movies, and exploring Canada and beyond.

Her favourite mantra is, "Let Go and Let God," and no day is complete without a good cup of coffee.

We're so grateful to have Jasmine on the ViaCFO team!

Who says accounting has to be boring?

Around here, you'll find plenty of coffee, way too many snacks, and a team that actually enjoys working together.

Even our summer student likes hanging out here... and we think that says a lot.

Another week in the books at ViaCFO! Here's a little behind the scenes of what we've been up to:

-Put our brand-new espresso machine through some very important quality testing...
Cups brewed: 51 (yes, it keeps track)

-Processed vendor payments on behalf of clients through Plooto (a new platform we’re loving!)

-Supported a long-time client with their biweekly payroll during a busy project season

-Attended an audit presentation for a local not-for-profit board we're proud to volunteer with

-Provided on-site administrative support to help a client navigate a system migration

Every week looks a little different around here, but helping our clients stay organized and supported is always the goal.

Now if you'll excuse us... we have some more espresso testing to do.
