📣 Contract Role: Bilingual Event Coordinator – Ottawa/Gatineau

Our association management firm is hiring a freelance bilingual event coordinator (French/English) to help manage three conferences this fall: two in-person (Montreal and Moncton) and one virtual event produced from the Ottawa–Gatineau region.

What we offer:
• Flexible freelance contract (remote work with some local coordination)
• Well-defined scope – not a full-scope agency planner role
• Possibility of recurring contracts each year

You are:
• Based in Ottawa–Gatineau
• Experienced in event logistics (even if it’s not your main profession)
• Comfortable working in both French and English, managing vendors and speakers
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and self-managed
• Important: No subcontracting without approval

Hello,

We're a boutique Gatineau association management company breaking onto the scenes and we are looking to partner with a start up or immediate level bookkeeper to possibly work with and help us bid on opportunities with non-profits and associations we are looking to take on. To assist us in keeping up with our own growth plans and serve their members' needs, we require capabilities that could include:

* Bilingualism in French and English
* A strong preference towards experience or at least an understanding of nonprofits and associations
* A solid background in bookkeeping or accounting
* A preference for professional certification or accreditation by a bookkeeping or accounting association

To be considered, you MUST be fluent in French and English. In addition, experience supporting and/or working with nonprofit organizations and/or associations would be a definite plus.

Please only respond to this opportunity if you are in the National Capital Region. Only individual bookkeepers (not companies) will be invited to a meeting. We are not looking to partner with a business of several associates or employees themselves.
