The Town of Goderich is proud to announce the Goderich Salt & Harvest Festival received two provincial recognitions at the Festival and Events Ontario (FEO) Awards Gala on February 25, held during the annual FEO Conference: Best Promotional Campaign and designation as a Top 100 Event in Ontario. These honours recognize the Festival’s marketing excellence, visitor appeal, and the strength of its community and corporate partnerships. Mayor Bazinet, Jenna Ujiye - Tourism and Community Development Manager and Amy Boyce from Compass Minerals were at the Gala to accept the Award.

We are launching a brochure that explores all things salt in Goderich!

Be sure to pick up your copy of "A Hidden Treasure Below" this weekend at the Compass Minerals and P&H Experience (on the Square) or the Tourism Information Centre (33 St. David Street).

👕 We also have youth-sized SALTED T-shirts in stock (small, medium, and large available), and a new version of our classic grey retro logo T-shirt (available in adult large, x-large, and xx-large).

All SALTED merch will be sold exclusively on the Square during Salt Fest.

The historic Salt Walk lights up the night at Rotary Cove Lookout! Check out Goderich's Salty History.
Then head on down to Courthouse Sqaure for the Goderich Downtown BIA Friday Night Concert Series! We are ready to rock with performances from acts Texas King, Harley Olivia, The Dyadics, and Full Throttle! Tickets for this must-see event are available for $10 plus fees and taxes at saltedgoderich.ca and ticketscene.ca. Get your tickets now!

We’ve had a great day so far with setup!!! Started a little rainy while we were putting up tents, but we got it done with the help of our Public Works crew! Then our merch arrived, including youth sized shirts, and then we got the Salt Walk installed over at Rotary Cove Lookout. Can’t wait to head over to the BIA market and concert with Sal’s Alley, starting at 7.
