Living and building a business in a small Canadian community has reminded me that this country is built by people who show up for one another.

The neighbour who lends a hand.
The family business that’s been here for generations.
The person who chooses to shop local because they know it matters.

Today, I’m grateful to call Canada home, and even more grateful for everyone who’s supported Tilly’s Balance Company from the very beginning.

I know what it’s like to lie in bed thinking about everything that’s waiting for you tomorrow.

The paperwork.
The emails.
The things you promised yourself you’d get to this week.

It gets heavy after a while.

That’s why I started Tilly’s Balance Company

Not because I love spreadsheets (although I do).

Because I love seeing someone finally breathe when they realize they don’t have to carry it all alone.

If I can take one thing off your plate so you can spend more time with your family, focus on your business, or simply have a quiet evening… then I’ve done my job.

🚨 If people don’t know you exist, they can’t buy from you.

You can have the best products, the best prices, and provide incredible service—but if no one sees you, someone else gets the sale.

Social media isn’t about going viral. It’s about staying visible.

While you’re busy serving customers, people are scrolling. They’re looking for local businesses, comparing options, and deciding who they’ll trust when they need something.

Showing up consistently means:

✔️ Staying top of mind.
✔️ Reaching customers outside your immediate circle.
✔️ Building trust before someone ever messages you.
✔️ Turning followers into customers.
✔️ Growing beyond word of mouth alone.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there, but especially to my own.

Thank you for the late nights helping me build my office, for the countless drives down the road filled with conversations about business and entrepreneurship, and for always taking the time to share your wisdom.

Thank you for seeing the stress that others didn’t and somehow always knowing exactly what to say at exactly the right time. Thank you for believing in my dreams, even on the days when I questioned them myself.

Through long nights of school, difficult moments, and now building Tilly’s Balance Company, your support has never wavered. You’ve taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and believing that with God and determination, dreams are worth pursuing.
