For Falls Prevention and Exercise Day, we’re highlighting the importance of movement in helping individuals stay safe and independent in their daily lives.

We encourage activities that promote mobility and quality of life. Whether it’s stretching, walking, participating in an exercise program, or simply finding ways to move throughout the day, every step counts!

Falls prevention is a team effort, and small steps can make a meaningful difference. Let’s keep moving, stay connected, and support independence at every stage of life! 💙

Respite services provide an opportunity for individuals to enjoy new experiences and connect with others, while also giving caregivers the opportunity to rest and recharge.

Our Main Office and the Independence Training Centre are closed today for Thanksgiving Day. We will reopen tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.

Today, we’re celebrating the importance of having a safe, supportive place to call home.

Supportive housing and assisted living services can help individuals maintain their independence while having access to the assistance they need to live safely and confidently in their community.

At ICAN, our goal is to provide support that goes beyond the basics. We work alongside individuals to encourage independence, choice, participation, and connection.

Because home isn’t just a place. It’s where we build routines, relationships, memories, and a sense of belonging.
