We understand the concerns surrounding the new canoes sold at the co-op, and we’re committed to addressing them. We’re pleased to share that the first communities have been visited, with very positive results.
Our commitment to safety and quality remains a priority. As these canoes are handmade, we continue to work closely with our supplier to ensure they meet the needs of our communities. The canoe construction process has also been improved to prevent the issues from reoccurring.
There’s still work to do, and our team will continue visiting other communities to address the remaining concerns. We’re encouraged by the progress so far and remain committed to implementing the repairs to all effected canoes in all communities.
We sincerely thank our co-op members for their patience, collaboration and trust throughout this process. Your feedback matters, and we remain dedicated to providing safe, reliable and high-quality products and services to our communities.
