My journey into bookkeeping and income tax started long before it became my career. Growing up in a family of business owners, I learned early how important good financial records are. When my mother lost her sight, I stepped in to help with the company books — and that experience sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since.

I have gained experience across several industries, including Bella Flor Distribution, Two Jay Publishing, INTRIA/CIBC. Later running my own bookkeeping business in Kelowna, BC while raising my children. Supporting a wide range of clients gave me valuable insight into the real challenges individuals and small businesses face.

Since moving to Thunder Bay, I’ve continued to grow professionally through roles with Viking Refrigeration, and MNP. At MNP, I further advanced my tax preparation skills, completing hundreds of returns each season and gaining experience with a wide variety of personal tax situations — including small business and rental income returns.
