We’ll worry about getting your apprenticeship funding so you can focus on your business. At the heart of CTS stands Tony Craig, a former Auditor for Revenue Canada. Drawing on his experience leading a team responsible for educating auditors on new taxation matters, including vital insights into tax credits and funding possibilities, Tony became acutely aware of the financial resources available to

companies. Motivated by a desire to empower businesses to claim what was rightfully theirs, Tony, along with his wife Betty, took the plunge and founded CTS in 1988. The vision was clear – to bridge the gap between companies and the financial opportunities often overlooked. In 2005, the family legacy continued as Tony's son, Jason, joined the company, infusing new energy and commitment. Over the years, CTS has evolved into a dynamic force, comprising a team of seasoned professionals with a singular focus: identifying funding opportunities for businesses within the red seal trades. Today, the CTS team stands ready, armed with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, eager to help access the financial potential for your company. Your success is not just a goal but a commitment they passionately uphold – ensuring that you access the money available to you. As you focus on your company, CTS team is here to help you.

You're already doing the hard part — training the next generation of trades workers. The government has money set aside to help you do it.

The catch? Most business owners don't know it exists, and the ones who do don't want to deal with the paperwork.

That's where we come in. CTS & Associates handles everything — assessment, filing, follow-up with CRA. You do nothing.

✅ No upfront cost
✅ Contingency-based (we only get paid if you do)
✅ Up to 4 years back

We get it. You've heard the "free government money" pitch before.

So let us be straight with you:

❌ No, it's not a scam.
❌ No, it won't trigger a CRA audit.
❌ No, there's no upfront cost.
❌ No, it won't disrupt your business.

These are real government programs for Canadian trades businesses that train apprentices or hire co-op students. Most owners just don't know they exist — and we've spent nearly 4 decades making sure they don't miss out.

If we don't recover anything, you pay nothing. That's the whole deal.

Last fall, I shared the real challenges our clients face when trying to secure funding for training apprentices and co-op students. CFIB listened — and they didn’t just listen, they acted.

Those insights were taken seriously and ultimately added to CFIB’s “Big 5 Asks” for the federal budget. That matters. As Canada grows and becomes more unified, I truly believe we’ll see more training incentives introduced (and reintroduced) in the years ahead.

Huge credit to the CFIB HR team for championing this cause and lobbying for meaningful support. Honestly, they’re one of the best-kept secrets at CFIB, and their dedication deserves to be recognized. 👏
