Re-finance and use your equity as cash!! 🚩Just consolidate all your debt! 🚩 Lease a vehicle! 🚩Invest in crypto and bitcoin! 🚩 Respectfully Uncle Billy, I think I’ll pass.. I’m on a different trajectory here, I have my sights on financial freedom not financial slavery. (Also, who else watched the Wedding Singer on repeat as a pre-teen? ⚡️🤘🏻🙋🏼‍♀️)

Sometimes people don't start because they are afraid they might make a mistake. Don't let that fear hold you back! If you are new to budgeting, just starting your debt payoff journey or you're just trying to make a few better choices with your money- stick with it!! No one is perfect, and you WILL make mistakes! Focus on the progress you are making, don't stress about doing it perfectly. Progress over perfection, every time. 🩷

Okay, so I’m not always this jazzed about the home I’m in, the car I drive or the things I have.. but!! Finding contentment in what you have is a key part of becoming and staying debt free. Take stock of what you have and where you are in life. I bet it’s everything you hoped and dreamed about 10 years ago..

Can we normalize saying this again? I say again because it’s what people used to do. But with the rise of social media, home improvement shows and reality tv it’s left people feeling like they are less than if they don’t have the latest, greatest thing.. but what it’s really done is created a society where broke is the new normal and people hide behind fake success and riches… I know from experience..

So let’s do something different. The next time someone asks you to do something you simply can’t afford, answer with this: “Sorry. Can’t. It’s not in the budget.”
