Are you aware of newly introduced Advanced Canada Workers Benefit (ACWB)?

Starting in July 2023 and based on the 2022 taxation year, the CWB will provide advance payments equal to 50% of the CWB across 3 payments under the Advanced Canada workers benefit (ACWB). This initiative puts more money in the workers' pockets to help cope with the rising cost of living. CRA issues a form called RC210 for the money ACWB you received in 2023. You should bring this form to your accountant when filing your 2023 tax.

Anyone who applied and received the CWB in 2022 will receive the advanced payments, there is no need to apply.

Cross border US-Canada tax issues resolved :

With this COVID crisis when a lot of US commuters work from home are worried about double taxation regarding CRA's ruling given in sometimes around March this year. At the beginning the tax waiver issued only for 2020 tax year. Later CRA updated the ruling and now its easy to resolve the dual taxation matter. Please call me if you need help regarding this issue and also want to file a T1213 requested by some US companies.

CRA update for Cross-border commuters:

Canadian Resident Employees (working aboard):
Under Canadian rules, a non-resident employer is required to deduct withholdings at source from the salary that it pays to an employee who is a resident of Canada, regardless where the services are rendered.

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) issued a recent update regarding Cross-Border commuter tax related issues. Recently some of the big three (Ford, Chrysler and GM) employees are facing problems regarding their work at home and W2 tax deduction related issues. This new update must help to resolve their issues I guess.
