Thank you to Jane Dixon for asking us to support The Bereavement Cafe at their recent meeting held at the Toughsheet Stadium.

As proud patrons and supporters, we are passionate about helping those navigating loss and grief, and providing practical guidance during difficult times.

We spoke about financial literacy and support following the loss of a loved one, and shared practical tips to help people feel more informed and empowered during challenging times.

The Bereavement Café provides such an incredible service and safe space for people when they need it most, offering compassion, understanding, and support through grief and loss.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such an open and supportive conversation.

We recently delivered our “Planning for Your Future” financial education programme to Year 9 students at St Joseph's R.C. High School over two fantastic days.

The sessions included 2 interactive sessions covering important real-life financial topics including:

• Payslips
• Tax
• National Insurance contributions
• Pensions
• Savings
• Insurance

It was great to see so much engagement and participation from the students throughout the sessions. They are a credit to the school.

We received 172 feedback sheets, with:

30% strongly agreeing the sessions were enjoyable
69% agreeing the sessions were enjoyable

A huge thank you to the staff and students at St Joseph’s High School for their enthusiasm and warm welcome.

We look forward to continuing to support young people in planning confidently for their futures.

Honoured to be invited to a St. James's Place Peer Group session on Monday with the Small Business Unit alongside a good number of other partners and the The Wisdom Council.

Great to spend time discussing practical ideas to improve the business for both partners and clients, with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and delivering even greater value.

It was also a pleasure to have our CEO James Rainbow in attendance and contributing to the discussion.

A brilliant, well spent day, out of the office rounded off with dinner at The Ivy Manchester. Great conversations, great company, and plenty of valuable insights shared.

Looking forward to seeing some of these ideas come to life and connecting again with new found colleagues and friends
