🎙️ Have you heard of SKI-ing in retirement? ⛷️
No, I’m not talking about hitting the slopes!
SKI stands for Spending the Kids’ Inheritance, and it’s something I recently had the pleasure of discussing with Bill Buckley on BBC Radio Berkshire.
After spending decades working hard, saving and building up their wealth, many people find it surprisingly difficult to actually spend their money.
But retirement shouldn’t just be about how much you leave behind. It should also be about enjoying the life you’ve worked so hard to create.
That’s where good financial planning comes in. It’s about having the confidence to know what you can afford to spend, without worrying about running out.
A big thank you to Bill and the BBC Radio Berkshire team for having me!
🦋 Are you planning to SKI in retirement, or would you rather leave as much as possible to the next generation?
