A little book update I thought I’d share.

I noticed today that Rethink Money, Reclaim Your Life has once again reached #1 Best Seller in the Real Estate category on Amazon.

It’s been about six months since I published it, so it’s quite nice to see it still finding new readers.

Thank you to everyone who has bought it, read it, reviewed it or recommended it to someone else.

Reading the news about the new government's financial plans this morning.

It is so easy to get caught up in it all. Energy bills, tax thresholds, VAT changes. You can spend hours trying to work out if the latest headline means you will be £10 better off or £10 worse off next month.

But if your financial confidence depends on what happens in Westminster, you are always going to feel anxious. The rules will always keep changing.

The people who seem to navigate this stuff best don’t actually spend much time waiting for political announcements.

They just focus entirely on what they can control under their own roof.

It takes a lot of the stress away when you stop waiting for the news to fix things.

A few years ago, I never imagined I'd be standing in front of a room sharing ideas about money and life.

I had the privilege of speaking in Birmingham about the psychology of money and the small decisions that can create more freedom over time.

The best part wasn't giving the talk.

It was the conversations before and afterwards.

Listening to people's stories always reminds me that money is rarely just about money.

It's about the life we're trying to build.

That's the message behind my book - Rethink Money, Reclaim Your Life.

Thank you to everyone who came along. Many thanks to Andy, Donna and the team for the opportunity to be with you all.

One of my favourite parts wasn't reaching the summit of Ben Nevis - tallest mountain in the UK.

Spending time with friends was special as well as meeting people on the way up. Families, friends, solo hikers, charity fundraisers... everyone had their own reason for taking on the mountain.

Despite the different backgrounds and different goals, there was one thing everyone seemed to have in common. A smile, a word of encouragement, or asking "How far have you got left?" It's amazing how quickly strangers become teammates on a mountain.

The summit was incredible, but those small moments with people I'll probably never meet again are what I'll remember most.

Until the next adventure.

One thing I've noticed over the years is that most people don't have a shortage of information.

There are endless books, podcasts and videos telling us how to be more successful.

What many people struggle with is something much simpler.

Clarity.

Clarity about what matters most.

Clarity about what a good life looks like for them.

Clarity about when enough is enough.

That idea inspired much of what I wrote in Rethink Money: Reclaim Your Life.

The Kindle edition is available worldwide on Amazon at no cost until tomorrow.

A brilliant evening with great people, thoughtful conversations and plenty of laughs along the way.

I was grateful for the opportunity to share some ideas around the question, How much is enough in life and why?

We explored the three currencies of life: time, energy and money, and how finding the right balance between them can shape not only success, but also fulfilment and peace of mind.

Safe to say the room solved most of life’s problems by the end of the evening… although we still couldn’t agree who was ordering the next round of coffees.

Also enjoyed the informative talks from Alex Walker , Bill McWilliam and Lyndsay Yuill, each bringing different insights and perspectives to the evening.
