Companies House is changing the way every UK company files its annual accounts.
From 1 April 2028, annual accounts will have to be filed using commercial software.
Companies House's existing web and paper accounts filing routes will close, and there will be no transition period once the new rules take effect.

β’ iXBRL digital accounts
β’ Changes affecting small and micro-company accounts
β’ The removal of abridged accounts
β’ Stronger requirements around audit exemptions
