A little update from us at MP Tax & Finance…

It’s been a whirlwind over the last few months, and thanks to the continued support from our clients, recommendations and referrals, we’ve been at full capacity. After taking a few days to properly switch off and recharge, I’m now back in the office and working through a large number of messages, enquiries and quotes.

On Friday, I spoke with a business owner who had been considering whether to move from being self-employed to operating through a limited company.

Like many business owners, he had questions:

• Is it worth it?
• What are the tax benefits?
• What are the downsides?
• How would it affect the way the business operates?
• Is now the right time?

After a quick chat and a detailed breakdown of the numbers, we were able to compare both options and look at the potential impact on the business moving forward.

Once the figures were laid out clearly, the decision became much easier.

The outcome? He’s now taking the next steps towards setting up a limited company with a structure that better supports his future growth plans.

They needed clear advice, real numbers, and someone who can explain what those numbers actually mean for their business.
