That's me recertified as a QuickBooks level 2 ProAdvisor for another year.
Bookkeeping software is constantly updating to keep track of changing environment. One of the biggest changes for a long time is happening in less than a year when the new Making Tax Digital system becomes mandatory for a huge number of businesses. This will mean from April next year they will have to make regular submissions to HMRC throughout the year instead of just the annual self-assessment.

**Premises for rent**

We have a bright and spacious space on the first floor of the Garret for rent. It measures approx. 4.5 * 9M, it's a bright room that is a blank canvas that can be turned into almost anything a tenant wants. And you also get the benefit of great neighbours with NGR Accountancy on the top floor and The Zetland Bakery's new shop due to open on the ground floor next month!

That's the last of the self-assessments filed for another year. It has been a busy month but we got through it again.
Thanks to all my clients for understanding how busy it can be in January. We will be back to normal from Monday but I think it's time for a proper weekend off 🥳🥳

We have finally moved into our new office 🥳

It's been a long time coming and a lot of work but we are just about fully moved in now.

If you haven't heard before, we are now on the top floor of the Garret, above The Zetland Bakery (The building opposite the pier with the boot on the side). Still no staff that want to get their picture taken but you can see what the office looks like and just have to imagine what the people look like.

Look forward to seeing you all here over the next while.

NGR Accountancy Ltd are looking for an accountant to join our team.

We are looking for someone with experience of preparing year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Experience with preparing Self-Assessment returns and Corporation Tax returns would be an advantage but is not essential.

We are a small team who pride ourselves on the service we offer our clients. As our client base continues to grow and we prepare to move to our new offices we need someone who can help make sure we are able to continue offering the same level of service to our current clients and new ones.

Consideration would be given to full time or part time hours for the right person. Salary will be in line with experience.
