This is how much you could contribute to your pension before you have to start paying tax on it (or 100% of your income, whichever is the lower).

The lifetime pension allowance is how much you can contribute to your pension
(in the tax year 2022/23)

This is how much you can take out of your pension as a one-off lump sum without being taxed on it
