I know it’s controversial but…

In my opinion, adopting a purely data driven approach in management accounting for service based industries overlooks qualitative factors, such as customer satisfaction and employee well being, which are equally crucial in shaping long term business success.

When I set KPI’s with my clients I ensure there is ALWAYS as a minimum two qualitative measures in place.

Those that are successful and reach their goals in business have a strong CEO mindset 💯

This means having a growth mindset, always having an open mind, looking for knowledge and feedback, this allows them to continue lishing through challenges.

Knowing when to ask for help and outsource tasks out of thier skill set, having strong emotional intelligence being able to spot opportunities for growth and investment is a MASSIVE part of this!

Being good at what you do and sales will only get you so far in business unfortunately.

I've been thanking over the weekend how success means different things to different people.

When I picture my life in a few years, I imagine:

- Both kids in school and sleeping well at night 🙈
- Enjoying weekends with the family, doing fun activities
- Going on an abroad holiday at least once a year ☀️
- The freedom to buy food and drink out without worrying about the bill
- Being a member at the Headland Hotel, comfortably using my extra income in
- Working during school hours and not needing to catch up in the evenings
