On day 9 of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign, Strategic Solutions is proud to support the incredible work of Bee Mission. 🐝💛

They have three missions which are simple but powerful: installing 500 beehives across the south of England to protect vital pollinators, feeding people facing homelessness, and creating skills and training opportunities to help people move forward.

They bring these missions together by involving people experiencing homelessness in their work, offering hands-on experience, training, and a sense of belonging as part of the Bee Mission family.

With 63 hives across 21 locations and growing, they’re always looking for supporters to sponsor a hive or help raise awareness and support local communities, it really is bee-yond inspiring.

On day 8 of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign, we supported Crawley Open House with a £500 donation.

Crawley Open House is a registered charity supporting people in Crawley and West Sussex who are experiencing homelessness, hardship or social exclusion.

They run a 24-bed high-support hostel offering emergency accommodation for adults aged 18+, and they operate a day centre and Resource Centre where people can access food parcels, advice, counselling, benefits and debt support, and help finding move-on housing.

Their team also provides year-round outreach to people sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness, as well as life-skills training, employability support, resettlement assistance and help accessing statutory and voluntary services.

Crawley Open House plays a vital role within the community, offering safety, stability and a pathway forward for those who need it most.

Today we’re proud to be supporting Hope for Food with a £500 donation, which was used primarily to purchase microwaves and air fryers for families who don’t have access to these essential household items.

Hope for Food’s mission is to support people in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty. They provide fresh food through community meals, food parcels, as well as good-quality clothing, bedding and household goods where needed. Their work is rooted in preserving dignity, treating everyone with respect, and offering help without judgement to anyone who reaches out.

Run entirely by volunteers, Hope for Food began as a small soup kitchen and has grown and adapted in response to the ongoing crisis of poverty and homelessness. They operate solely through the dedication of volunteers and receive no funding from either central or local government.

As part of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign, Giles from our Bournemouth office visited We Are Humans in Boscombe to present a donation of 10 x 4-season sleeping bags, 5 x tents, and 8 x winter coats.

CEO Andy and the team were incredibly grateful, and these essential items will help provide warmth and shelter to those in need this winter. We’re proud to support a charity that goes beyond offering a roof, helping vulnerable individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and care.

We Are Humans provides shelter, food, advice, and equipment to the homeless in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole, making a real difference in the community.

Thank you to Andy and the entire team for your dedication, compassion and the impact you’re making. 🙏

Day Five of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign is dedicated to the Rainbow Centre. 🌈💛

We’re proud to support their vital community work with a £500 donation this Christmas.

The Rainbow Centre supports individuals and families across the Folkestone and Hythe district who are experiencing deprivation and hardship. Guided by Christian values, the charity welcomes people of all faiths and none, recognising the dignity, worth and potential of every person who walks through their doors.

From emergency food and housing advocacy to the Winter Shelter, Money First Aid, Foodbank, Pantry FoodStop and family contact services, the Rainbow Centre plays a crucial role in helping people move from crisis toward stability.

On day four of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign, we supported the Dorset Deaf Children's Society by contributing towards their Christmas party.

DDCS is a registered charity that organises events and activities for children and young people with hearing loss, as well as their parents and families, giving them opportunities to connect, share experiences, and of course, have fun.

Nearly 200 members attended the party, and it looks like everyone had an amazing time!

Day three of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign is dedicated to the wonderful Margaret Green Animal Rescue.🐾💚

Lindsay from our Bournemouth office recently visited their Church Knowle Centre, where she was kindly shown around by Emma and got to see first-hand the incredible work their team does every single day. We’re proud to have supported them with £500 worth of essential items from their Amazon wish list.

Margaret Green Animal Rescue provides a safe haven for pets who become homeless through changes in circumstance, neglect, mistreatment or abandonment. Every animal is given exceptional care, full veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and the love they deserve before being carefully matched with a forever home.

From rescue dogs enjoying off-lead socialisation, to volunteers helping shy cats build confidence, and farm animals, rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets living enriched, happy lives, animal welfare is truly at the heart of everything they do.

With over 45 children attending each day, the scheme offers a range of exciting activities like sailing, swimming, pony trekking, and trips to local zoos and farms, all while promoting independence and social inclusion.

Kicking off day one of our 12 Days of Christmas campaign is The Steve Bernard Foundation, nominated by Jez Horgan. 🎄

Founded in memory of Stevie B, who tragically passed away in a car accident in November 2005, the foundation has since raised over £700,000 to support sports projects across Bournemouth, Dorset, and beyond. 💙

Since its inception in 2006, the foundation has supported over 600 projects from helping local boxing clubs and AFC Bournemouth’s Ability Counts Team to funding outreach projects in Thailand, Uganda, and Kenya.

Everything the foundation achieves is inspired by Steve’s passion for sport, and we're proud to support their mission with a £500 donation.
