When the motivational quotes are coming in strong from the 6 year old…. 🤣

Genuinely cannot believe how fast this year is moving. Summer holidays are nearly here and my 'to do' list does not know that 😅

In all seriousness though, there's so much really exciting stuff going on at the moment. New conversations, new opportunities, bringing in new software and priocesses behing the scenes... I'm in that slightly overwhelming but good way busy 🥰

And all whilst juggling this wonderful heat (I'm still refusing to complain about it, because I hate the doom and gloom of winter that much!)

Want an extra £1,000 in YOUR pocket, rather than HMRC’s?

HMRC’s approved business mileage rate increased from 45p per mile, to 55p per mile from 1st April 2026, for the first 10,000 miles of business travel each year.

This could add up to an additional £1,000 of tax-free cash in your back pocket!

And who wouldn’t say ‘yes’ to that?!

Slow mornings, a little pampering, a BBQ in the ☀️toasting the successes of this week, and proper time to switch off with our little (okay, maybe not so little!) family.

Because showing up well for clients and my business next week abso-flippin-lutely starts with showing up for myself first today.

Nobody opens a tax bill and cheers. I get it. 😅

But hear me out before storming my DMs.

If you owe tax, it means you’ve made money. Simple as that. You can’t be taxed on profit you haven’t made 🤷🏻‍♀️

So that bill isn’t a punishment. It’s proof something’s working.

Let’s not forget that owing tax and overpaying tax are two very different things.

My job is making sure you pay what you owe and not a penny more. Every allowance claimed. Every relief used. Planned for in advance, not panicked over in January.

A tax bill is basically just a receipt for a good year. ✨
