💷UK Autumn Budget 2024 is finally here💷

I have noted a few of the key headline budget points in my post below. There are many more to digest and these can be found on the government website but I felt these points were most relatable.

🍺I say that, BUT, a pint of beer down the local pub will cost around 1p less soon!🍺🤣 (Draught duty will be cut by 1.7% in February 2025)

💷Navigating finances as a young adult💷

Financial planning as a young adult can be both overwhelming and stressful at every turn. When I was 16, every part of finances made me nervous. I remember feeling stupid that I wasn’t aware of every day life requirements like budgeting and saving.

Real life skills like what affect do interest rates have on my savings or how do I get a mortgage for a house are not taught at school yet are such an essential part of our adult life. I’m going to try and change that.

I have highlighted a few key areas of Financial Planning for young adults to consider and action accordingly. I must say: there are many more I’ve not mentioned here but I feel these four points, performed well, will set you up on a positive path for the future in achieving your financial goals.

I will start to add weekly knowledge tips to help build knowledge on financial planning in an understandable way. Hopefully it helps, feedback/ requests are welcome☺️
