Yesterday took an Uber ride from outskirts of Kolkata to New Garia area.
Heard driver talking on phone with someone about making a 90 points profit early morning.
I guessed and asked him if he was trading in BANKNIFTY. He confirmed doing so.
For rest of journey of about an hour he kept explaining about himself as a trader.
He started learning and trading about 4 years ago.
He was was profitable only this week since start. Lost about ₹2.00 lakh.

With only this week being profitable he declared that he has learned everything and is ready for the big leap.
Planing to sell cab and shift to his native place in Benaras.
His friends in process of setting up an office there.
I didn't make any comment. Just kept enquiring.

Wish I could have told him to be profitable for at least 6 months consistently or even 3 months before deciding on anything. He was very interested that I should take his number. He will add me in Telegram group he is running.

I didn't take. And set goodbye.

Take away - Be consistent first.
Don't believe everything what the option traders on YouTube say.
Learning and then psychology is very important.
