THE WORLD HAS CHANGED!!!!

I can vividly remember April 2014 when I had my first child, joy, happiness, excitement filled my heart and life.
2 days later, reality dawned on me- My World Has Changed!!!! I now have a baby that needed to be nurtured to STAY ALIVE, GROW and THRIVE.

I had to change my sleeping pattern

I had to change my meals and the timing, drink hoottttt liquids(I love cold things)--- that one was hard oo.

Wash multiple times a day

So much more.......Bottom line is I had to make changes so my little one would survive.

In the same way, our world has changed, dress sense has been modified to include a compulsory piece of clothing called FACEMASK to stay safe and alive.

Dear business owner/start ups, have you spotted out the changes you need to make for your business to thrive in these times? You need new skills, knowledge, processes, collaboration, new services, new products, new strategy etc

Find out which of these pertains to you and commit to implementing it.

For those who are about to start businesses, look out for the NEW problems and challenges around you, finding a solution for them can just be the start of a NEW BUSINESS for you.....

Customers are the lifeline of any business and so they are the channels through Cash Flow occurs and remains in your business.

NO CUSTOMER... NO BUSINESS.

One distinctive feature in big businesses is an existing well thought out customer service structure which builds the KLT ( know, like and trust factor).
As a Business start up or Small business owner you must pay attention to this as it helps you convert to sales consistently.

How to Build Customer Service Structure.

👉🏾Set up communication channels that clearly outlines your services in a standardized manner.

👉🏾 Speak your Customers language ( say it the way they want to hear it)

👉🏾Decide how you handle Complaints. Let the customer know their concerns will be given attention.

👉🏾 Ask for feedbacks and use them.( let them know you are on a mission to improving your services for them)

🖐🏾Note:

You and anyone (staff) relating with your customers must keep this top of mind when doing so.

Do This To Prevent BURNOUT

Its a simple and straight forward message for anyone who is feeling overwhelmed, overworked, stressed out, pressured.

Please understand its absolutely okay to feel that way and it doesn't mean you are not good enough. A lot of people are also in the same state as you right now.

Piece of advice, before you set out to start the grind in this new month, please Rest, slowdown, relax, review then recalibrate. So you don't BURNOUT and QUIT as a result.

Just thought I should reach out to someone, if you are the one please know you are loved and in my prayers too.

Every change we desire in life starts from within. As a rule you start from what's is KNOWN to get to what's UNKNOWN.... it makes this mystery called life easier to navigate through.

Its a new week, an opportunity to start again or keep going if you have started already.

Leverage on what you already have and know and start creating your dream life.

Your seed could be your problem in which case you know exactly what you should be tackling.

Your seed could be people you already know.... Leverage on them

Your seed could be expertise you already have... Build a business around it or repackage it so it gets a face lift.

Your seed could the money you already have....get the necessary knowledge and skills so you can manage it well and then grow it.

The list is endless.

The quality of the harvest you get is dependent on how you handle your seed and what you do with it.

Here is the concluding part of steps you new to take in order to start a business that has the likelihood for success because it has a rock solid foundation.

9) Build your team----
who do you need to to work with? What skills do they need to have, what job are their roles, what for values and character traits should they possess. These questions help you pick the right people to work with. Also choosing your suppliers, to who you outsource to when you have is part of setting up your team.

10) Register your business and open a business account.
You can start with just a business name if you are small on cash, that will give you necessary document to open an account for your business. This will help you track your cash flow, separate business money from personal money which is very important for business growth.
A registered business also opens doors of opportunity for you business interns of accessing sone funding, been considered for cooperate jobs or contracts. Its one of the basic documents you will be asked to submit.

Lots of people think its very a herculean task and this goes on to stop them from starting a business even if they have a viable business idea that would bring solutions the world is waiting for. Well am here now, you need not worry, its easier than you think.

This video highlights the next 4 steps to achieving that dream, the previous one described the first 4( please go watch it).

1) Finance you business- HOW?
from personal savings, family and friends, Grants, Angel investors, start up accelerators and loans.

please note LOAN comes last because it can make or mar the business and you don't want to but a lot of stress on yourself at the beginning so you don't burn out. If you must use it understand the terms and based on your numbers check if you can survive the expectations a loan puts on your business. Enough said.

5) Chose a location--- physical shop, online store, home based service, pre- order with delivery service etc.

7) Pick a business name--- please don't overthink it, as the business progresses you might have to tweak it. However, coin a name that is easy to remember, tells what your business about and won't make you looses your business identity when you want to expand or scale.

8) Make it official!!!!! Do a launch , officially let people know you now have a product or service that solves a particular problem, need or want.
It also makes you feel productive and responsible. Boosts your self confidence.
