Thinking of buying a gift voucher to thank your customers for their support this year?
Here’s a handy little reminder: there’s no GST on gift vouchers when you buy them.
So, if you’re giving a voucher as a “thanks for your business” gift, it’s worth keeping this in mind when sorting your bookkeeping.

Your business numbers tell a story. 📊 They can help you understand what’s going well, where things might need a bit of attention, and what’s happening behind the scenes. It’s all well and good having the numbers. but it's a different story trying to understand what they mean for you and your business.

There are a few things in business where “she’ll be right” is a pretty fair approach.
The website needs a tiny update? She’ll be right. That Instagram post can wait until tomorrow? She’ll be right.

The pile of receipts sitting on the desk? …she’ll be right. 😬 for now.....

But when it comes to your accounting and tax, “she’ll be right” can sometimes come back to bite you. Knowing what’s going on with your numbers, keeping things up to date and getting help when you need it can save a whole lot of stress later. Because good accounting doesn't have to be scary or full of accountant-speak.

And sometimes, it’s just nice to know someone has got your back. 😊
