To be honest…

For the longest time, feeling ko pwede pang ipagpaliban ang life insurance.

Healthy pa naman ako. Bata pa naman.

Kaya lagi kong sinasabi sa sarili ko, “Mamaya na lang. Pwede pa.”

Then recently, I had a conversation with one of my clients.

Sabi niya sa akin,

“Mabuti na lang talaga nakakuha nako ng life insurance.”

She was diagnosed with cancer and is now taking maintenance medicine worth around ₱200 every single day. Her treatment is expected to continue for around 10 years.

Imagine that.

More than 3,600 days of medication
hindi pa kasama ang check-ups, laboratory tests, at iba pang medical expenses.

Napaisip talaga ako.

Minsan kasi, we delay protecting ourselves because we feel okay today.

Iniisip natin, “Healthy pa naman ako.”

But the truth is…
