ADULTING 101: Things We Eventually Learn About Money 💙
No one really prepares us for this part of adulthood.
You start earning your own money, paying your own bills, helping your family, saving for your dreams—and suddenly, you realize that being an adult isn't just about having an income. It's about knowing what to do with it.
At some point, you learn that:
✨ Not everything you earn needs to be spent.
✨ Saving is important, but savings alone may not be enough.
✨ Your future deserves a portion of your income, too.
✨ And protecting the things you've worked hard to build is just as important as building them.
Because life doesn't always follow the plan.
One unexpected hospitalization. A sudden loss of income. An emergency in the family. These are things we don't necessarily expect, but they can have a huge financial impact.
That's why part of growing up is learning to prepare—not because we're expecting something bad to happen, but because we value the life we're building enough to protect it.
Adulting is realizing that financial responsibility isn't about being rich.
It's about being prepared.
And sometimes, the most responsible financial decision we can make today is to make sure that the people and dreams that matter to us are protected tomorrow. 💙
