I didn’t know these small moments were building a story I would one day look back on with gratitude.
Years ago, I was simply trying to learn.
How to talk to people.
How to handle rejection.
How to sell without feeling like I was forcing someone.
How to stand in front of a room and speak with confidence.
How to lead people when I was still learning how to lead myself.
Wala namang isang malaking moment na biglang nagbago ang lahat.
It was mostly ordinary days.
Trainings.
Meetings.
Conversations.
Mistakes.
Rejections.
Trying again.
Showing up kahit minsan hindi mo alam kung may patutunguhan ba talaga.
And slowly, things started to change.
The person who used to sit and listen eventually found himself speaking on stage.
The one who was once looking for mentors eventually had the opportunity to guide others.
And the career that started with simply wanting to learn eventually became an opportunity to help other people grow, too.
Looking at these photos now, one thing became clear to me:
We often recognize growth only when we look backward.
Habang nasa journey tayo, it just feels like another ordinary day.
Another training.
Another client meeting.
Another rejection.
Another opportunity to try again.
But those little things add up.
So if you’re currently in a season where it feels like nothing much is happening, maybe this is worth remembering:
Small beginnings are still beginnings.
Hindi kailangang alam mo agad kung saan ka pupunta.
Learn what you can.
Take the next step.
Show up again tomorrow.
Because sometimes, what feels insignificant today is quietly preparing you for something you cannot see yet.
And when I look back at my own journey, I know I cannot take credit for everything that brought me here.
There were opportunities I could never have planned.
People who came into my life at the right time.
Doors that opened when I least expected them.
And strength that came when I knew I needed more than my own.
Looking back, I see more than my progress. I see God’s faithfulness.
So whatever season you’re in right now, whether you’re just starting, starting over, or wondering if all your effort is worth it,
don’t despise the small beginnings.
Keep learning.
Keep showing up.
Keep doing what you can with what you have.
And when the time comes to look back, may you realize that God was already working in the ordinary moments you almost overlooked.
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
— Zechariah 4:10
Still learning. Still growing. Still building.
But whatever has been accomplished, whatever is happening now, and whatever comes next,
All glory belongs to God. 🙏🤍
