Kung registered taxpayer ka at may tax return na required ayon sa iyong BIR registration, kailangan pa rin itong i-file kahit ₱0 ang sales at ₱0 ang tax due. ☝️

Paano mag-file ng ZERO RETURN? 🤔

💻 I-file ang applicable tax return gamit ang filing facility na prescribed para sa iyo, gaya ng eBIRForms o eFPS.

✍️ Ilagay ang tamang information para sa period at, kung talagang walang transactions, ₱0 ang applicable sales/income at tax due.

✅ I-submit ang return at itago ang confirmation/proof of successful filing.

Walang babayarang tax kung zero talaga ang tax due. 🎉 Pero huwag i-skip ang required return dahil maaaring magkaroon ng penalty ang late o non-filing. 😬

Pursuant to Sections 4, 8, 9, and other relevant provisions of SEC Memorandum Circular No. 20, Series of 2026 ("MC No. 20"), the Financing and Lending Companies Department (“FinLenD”) hereby prescribes the procedures governing the electronic filing for the disclosure and recording of Online Lending Platforms (“OLPs”) through the SEC iMessage Portal.

The SEC iMessage Portal (https://imessage.sec.gov.ph) shall serve as the OLP disclosure platform until such time as the Commission formally establishes the “OLP Registry” contemplated under Section 4 of MC No. 20. Accordingly, the registration and disclosure of OLP names as business names or trade names shall remain valid and effective until the OLP Registry is established.

All covered financing and lending companies are advised to take note of the disclosure requirements and procedures prescribed under the Notice.

READ | DTI warns the public against uncertified FLAVA products
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) warns consumers against FLAVA, also marketed as XFLAVA, products being heavily promoted online, clarifying that these items are smuggled, uncertified and unauthorized for sale or distribution.

The DTI urges consumers to remain vigilant and avoid purchasing or using FLAVA or XFLAVA products, as they have not undergone Philippine Standard (PS) certification in accordance with applicable technical regulations and product standards. Uncertified products may contain harmful substances, including potentially toxic levels of chemicals such as formaldehyde, which may pose risks to consumer health and safety. Consumers are therefore advised to exercise caution and purchase only products that comply with Philippine laws and regulations.

The sale, distribution and promotion of uncertified vaporized ni****ne and non-ni****ne products may constitute violations of the Republic Act No. 11900, or Vaporized Ni****ne and Non-Ni****ne Products Regulation Act, and its implementing rules and regulations.

𝗗𝗔𝗚𝗗𝗔𝗚 𝗧𝗔𝗫 𝗥𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗙 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦, 𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗛𝗜 𝗡𝗜 𝗣𝗕𝗕𝗠 𝗦𝗔 𝗜𝗞𝗔-𝟱 𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔

Sa kanyang ikalimang State of the Nation Address (SONA), nanawagan si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa Kongreso na isulong ang mga karagdagang tax relief measures upang mabigyan ng higit na ginhawa ang mga manggagawang Pilipino, middle class, at maliliit na negosyo.

Kabilang sa mga panukala ang pagpapalawak ng income tax exemption upang maisama ang mga kumikita ng hanggang ₱350,000 kada taon, pagbabawas ng income tax para sa iba pang manggagawa, pag-aalis ng minimum corporate income tax para sa maliliit na negosyo, at pagbibigay ng tax amnesty para sa ilang hindi nabayarang buwis at kaugnay na mga multa.

Basahin ang naging pahayag ni Pangulong Marcos sa kanyang ika-5 SONA tungkol sa mga panukalang tax relief measures na naglalayong magbigay ng higit na ginhawa sa mga manggagawa, middle class, at maliliit na negosyo.
