"My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 10 months old. Because of seizures, her development and major milestones were delayed.

At age 1, she could barely sit on her own . She was also diagnosed with autism at 18 months because of speech delay and poor social awareness . Alliana is 5 years old and has Down Syndrome. She poses with her 2-year old brother Gabriel. She was very feeble and couldn’t stand by herself.

The Story of Justine Rae Sapon,
Casiguran, Aurora Province, Philippines

Parents Ronald and Ailyn knew something wasn’t right with their baby, Justine. He was only six months old when boils, rashes and blisters started to appear all over his fragile body. Ronald and Ailyn took their baby to a long trip to the Philippine Medical Center in Metro Manila for a variety of tests to determine the issue. They were devastated by the news that baby Justine has very low platelet count and progressive decreasing of red blood cells count.

He tested positive of Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), a rare disorder in which excess immune system cells called langerhans cells deriving from bone marrow build up in the body, capable of migrating from skin to lymph nodes. They usually form tumors called granulomas developing in the bones, causing pain and swelling. Granulomas also frequently occur in the skin, appearing as blisters, reddish bumps, or rashes. Since LCH is a cancer-like condition, the doctor recommended six cycles of chemotherapy.

Justine’s most recent (the third of sixth) chemo cycle was last July. Seeing the side effects of chemo and other strong medicines on their baby’s frail body melt his mom and dad’s hearts. Ronald and Ailyn both started to experience nervous spells because of severe anxiety over their baby’s ailing condition and the problem of raising finances needed every chemo session. They were on the brink of losing hope when they were introduced to the RKF (Reliv Kalogris Foundation) nutrition program run by Pastor Jennifer Arana.

Last July, on his 18th month, Justine started to take Reliv NOW® for Kids. Amazingly, Justine gradually showed health improvement bringing back the color to his skin. Soon after, he was able to walk and talk. The blisters and rashes covering his body slowly disappeared, leaving but a few remaining marks. His parents believe that it is the Reliv NOW® for Kids that helped Justine improve his health condition. Justin is 20 months old now.
