Faith like a mustard seed. 🌱

That’s the name of this particular piece from Eden that I so adore.

Why? Because it reminds me of the faith God has been cultivating in my life.

There were seasons when it was difficult to believe the Lord for anything great or good again. Maybe the losses and disappointments of the past made it harder to hope for more.

But God, rich in mercy and love, was so kind to me. He gently pursued my heart and brought me back to a place of childlike faith.

I didn’t have grand faith. Honestly, I still don’t. But I’m learning that God can take something so small and grow it into something more.

That’s why these earrings mean more to me than just an accessory. They remind me to carry with me the little faith God has planted in my heart. 🤍

And in many ways, starting Faithful in Little Co. is another step of that little faith.

For months, my husband and I had been praying about starting a small business and creating another source of income for our family. We tried different things, and then God unexpectedly opened this door for us.

So here we are—taking the little we have and trusting Him with it.

I’m still figuring things out, but I’m excited for what God can do with this little beginning—not just for our family, but hopefully for others too.

As the founder of Faithful in Little Co., I’m going to be vulnerable with this one.

Lately, I can’t help but wonder if this budding business is really for me.

Maybe it’s because I’ve been wanting to see results immediately. I’ve been looking for affirmation and confirmation through visible outcomes.

But as I ask God about it, I’m reminded that His ways are different from the world’s ways. The world measure success by outcomes but God measures it through faithful obedience.

So what if God is simply asking us to obey Him in the little, unseen things and in the small beginnings?

What if that’s all the Lord requires of us—and the harvest is up to Him?

Today, I’m encouraged not to despise small beginnings. To keep showing up despite little movement. To keep trusting the process while also being willing to adjust when needed.

And as you start your own business, maybe this is God’s encouragement for you, too:

Keep going. 🌱

Small doesn’t mean insignificant.

Slow doesn’t mean failing.

And unseen doesn’t mean unfruitful.

Be faithful in little.
