𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 5)

An engineering services company with 5 Board of Directors recently acquired ₱10M Life Insurance + ₱2M Critical Illness Benefit for 4 of their BODs.

What triggered the decision?

One of their BODs recently suffered a stroke.

It made them realize that the people behind the big decisions are among the company’s most valuable assets.

If one becomes seriously ill or dies, it can impact operations, cash flow, and the future of the business.

If one of your key decision-makers is suddenly out of the picture, can your business continue?

Remember, the most important assets of a business are the people behind it. 🧡

The first thing people should protect when building wealth is not a property, investment, or bank account. It’s the person earning the money.

Because when you’re prepared for life’s “what ifs,” you can focus on enjoying the fruits of your labor and living the life you’ve worked hard for.

Is the wealth you’re building well-protected?

As parents, one of the best feelings is knowing that your child's future and well-being are protected. Recently, I assisted with an insurance application for a child diagnosed with epilepsy. Many people think that having a medical condition automatically means being uninsurable, but that's not always the case.

Key Takeaways:
✅ Having a medical condition does not automatically mean you can't qualify for insurance coverage. With FWD, we can still explore your options.
✅ We design plans based on your needs, priorities, and budget.
✅ We guide you throughout the entire process.
✅Complete medical records, a responsive doctor, and proper guidance can help make the assessment process smoother. Kudos to the parent for keeping complete records and to the attending physician for their timely support.

Every case is unique, but this is a reminder not to assume "no" right away. It's always worth exploring your options first.

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 4)

A wife and mother in her late 40s discovered last year that she had a lump in her throat. The presence of the lump was confirmed, but she chose not to proceed with a biopsy.

Today, speaking has become difficult for her. Yet despite the challenges, she continues to work, care for her family, and fulfill her responsibilities every day.

Recently, she organized the debut celebration of her only daughter. Despite her difficulty in speaking, she made sure everything went well and remained fully present for one of her daughter’s most important milestones.

Watching her reminded me that life can change in an instant.

Sometimes, the emotional burden of a health concern is already heavy enough. The uncertainty, fear, and countless questions can be overwhelming. Financial pressure only makes it harder.

It’s a reminder of why protection matters. Insurance cannot prevent illness, but it can help lessen financial worries so people can focus on seeking answers, getting treatment, and spending more time with the people they love.

𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒕 “𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚” 𝒕𝒐 𝑫𝑬𝑳𝑨𝒀 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆?

1. 𝑰𝒕 𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒗𝒆
The older we get, mas risky na tayo as an individual para iinsure ng insurance companies. Kaya mas mahal na talaga ang mga insurance premiums.
𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢 𝘬𝘰𝘵𝘴𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘪𝘯, 𝘬𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘢 𝘯𝘢 𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘳, 𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘢 𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘦 𝘮𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘩𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘮𝘰. 𝘚𝘰 𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘨𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘥, 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘸.

2. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒍
Of course the insurance company wants to make sure na healthy yung mga iinsure nila since they are giving millions.
So as we age, nagdedeteriorate din yung health natin. Kaya most likely kapag mas matatanda na, nagrerequire na ng medical examinations and all.
𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘶𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺. 𝘒𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘨𝘢𝘢𝘯𝘰 𝘱𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘬𝘪 𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘮𝘰 𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘬𝘢, 𝘪𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘬𝘢 𝘯𝘢 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩𝘺, 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘢 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘩𝘢 𝘱𝘢.

3. 𝑾𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒂 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆
Life is unpredictable. Everyday, madaming pede mangyari — accident, disability, illness and even death. Hindi natin alam kung kailan to mangyayari sa atin.
Hopefully, kapag dumating man ito, ready tayo - financially.

An afternoon well spent. Great conversations, fresh perspectives, and a reminder that some of the best learning happens over tea. ☺️

We had meaningful discussions on today’s market behaviors, evolving client needs, and the approaches that are proving most effective.

Listening to our leaders share their best practices was a great reminder of the mindset, discipline, and heart it takes to serve people well in this profession.

Cozy, candid, and filled with practical insights that I’ll definitely carry into future client conversations. 🧡

Thank you AP Arlene and FWD!
