A simple morning, a grateful heart. 🙏❤️

Started my day with Mass, thanking and praising the Lord the Giver of all that we have.

Then a morning walk, followed by a simple bowl of arroz caldo. 🌻

Nothing fancy, but my heart is full.

So grateful for the gift of life, family, friends, and another beautiful morning to enjoy. 💝

Thank You, Lord, for blessings big and small. 🙏

Sharing my UP morning with Sis Bing. 💚🌻

Sis Bing is one of our elders in the community, and today I wanted her to experience some of the simple things I enjoy whenever I’m in UP.

Walking around the campus, enjoying UP’s taho, and of course, breakfast at UP Hotel. ☕️🥣

Simple activities, but made more special when shared with a dear friend. ❤️

At our age, I believe we should continue to walk, explore, laugh, and make new memories together. 🌻

Today’s session focused on strengthening my legs and improving my balance—two things I value even more as I grow older.

It was also a reminder that during therapy, progress and safety should always go together. 🙏

Saludo sa ating healthcare practitioners who continue to show up for their patients, even during heavy rains. ❤️

That was my retired classmate’s reaction after visiting UP Diliman again after several decades.

Despite the rain, we enjoyed our little tour. He was amazed at how much UP has changed improved, clean, and welcoming.

UP is also special to his family. Several nephews and nieces graduated here, and one nephew is currently studying Architecture.

Sayang, hindi niya natikman ang ipinagmamalaki kong UP taho because the Oval was closed. 😄 Next time!

Some mornings are worth intentionally making time for. 🙏❤️

Today was one of them.

I adjusted my morning schedule to attend the 10 AM Mass celebrated by His Eminence Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle at the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice and along the way, I came to know St. John Eudes a little better on his feast day.

At 70, I’m reminded that our faith always gives us something new to discover. ❤️

What is something new you’ve discovered about your faith lately?

My granddaughter became my teacher today. ❤️💻

A laptop I hardly used since 2022 finally came back to life and so did my determination to learn how to use it.

Three hours, lots of patience, and many questions later… I can now navigate my email, Messenger, Facebook and YouTube. 😊

At 70, still learning this time from the younger generation.

35 years later… our faith, our family, and our community continue. ❤️🙏

Celebrating 45 years of Living Word Prayer Community with a grateful heart. From bringing my eldest son when he was only 10, to seeing him today with his own family what a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness.

God is good, all the time! 🙏

👉 May our faith continue from one generation to the next.

Have you tried Pepeton’s? Super sarap!

First time ko dito, and habang kumakain kami, ang naiisip ko magugustuhan ito ng family ko.

We tried their tortang talong, Pinakbet Ilocano, sizzling squid, BBQ, at siyempre, their famous Kapalmuks Boneless Pork.

Ang dami ko pang gustong i-order! Pero sabi ko, huwag lahat ngayon may dahilan para bumalik. 😄

Mahilig kaming family na kumain sa labas, kaya happy ako whenever I discover a place na masarap, reasonable ang price, at comfortable for families.

Pepeton’s is another good discovery. Definitely babalikan namin ito!

Back to life, back to simple routines. 🌿

After Mass this morning, I took a short walk around UP. Ang sarap makita na buhay na buhay na ulit ang campus joggers, students, and familiar activities everywhere.

At 70, I’m learning that I don’t have to do too much. A little movement, a little sunshine, and a grateful heart are already blessings. 🙏❤️
