Pinalawig natin ang deadline ng filing ng 2025 Annual Income Tax Returns mula April 15 hanggang May 15, 2026. Mas may oras ang bawat taxpayer na makapag-file nang maayos, kasama ang lahat ng kailangang dokumento, at walang ipapataw na penalties.

Maaaring mag-file at magbayad sa pamamagitan ng BIR electronic platforms, o sa mga Authorized Agent Banks.

Ginawa natin ito para mas magaan ang pagbabayad ng bawat Pilipino, lalo na sa panahong ramdam ang pagtaas ng presyo ng langis. Tuloy-tuloy ang ating ginagawa para maibsan ang bigat sa araw-araw na buhay ng ating mga kababayan.

📣 𝗦𝗘𝗖 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗙𝗦, 𝗚𝗜𝗦 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued the schedule for the submission of corporations’ annual financial statements (AFS) and general information sheets (GIS) for 2026.

The SEC on February 11 issued Memorandum Circular No. 9, Series of 2026, which provides for the schedule of the 2026 Filing of Annual Financial Statements and General Information Sheets.

The AFS and GIS shall be filed through the Electronic Filing and Submission Tool, or eFAST. Other reports not yet accepted through eFAST shall be submitted through the iMessage Online Ticketing System at imessage.sec.gov.ph.

𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 shall 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐲 the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟖% 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐱 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 in filing any of the following:

𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭
a. Upon registration using BIR Form No. 1901 and/or 1701Q; or
b. On the initial quarter return (BIR Form No. 2551Q and/or 1701Q) of the taxable
year after the commencement of a new business/practice of profession.

𝐄𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬
a. Filing of BIR Form 1905 (Application for Registration Information Update) at the
beginning of the taxable year, to end-date the form type of quarterly percentage
tax. Provided that an option to avail the eight percent income tax rate shall be
selected in filing the initial quarterly income tax return for income tax purposes; or
b. 1st Quarterly Percentage Tax Return; and/or
c. 1st Quarterly Income Tax Return.

Otherwise, the graduated income tax rates shall apply.
