Someone asked me before,

“I will not leave our future to chance.”

Karamihan sa mga newlyweds or couples na wala pang anak, madalas ito ang iniisip:

27 years old. 3rd Engineer. Seafarer. And already planning for retirement. ⚓️

At 27, marami pa siguro ang iniisip na “malayo pa ang retirement.”
Pero this client of mine chose to think differently.

Bilang seafarer, alam niya kung gaano kahirap ang buhay na laging nasa barko—months away from family, missing important moments, and eventually reaching a point where you may feel like you have no choice but to keep sailing because you still need to earn.

And that’s exactly what he doesn’t want for his future.

He wants to build a life where someday, he can choose to stay home, spend more time with his family, and retire from sailing—not because he can no longer work, but because he has already prepared for it.
