📢 FBR Issues Sales Tax Circular No. 03 of 2025

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Government of Pakistan, has released a new circular to streamline the procedure for change of NTN/STRN on industrial electricity and gas connections.

According to the circular:
âś… No change of NTN/STRN will be made by DISCOs/GASCOs without fulfilling proper verification steps.
âś… Registered persons must apply to the Commissioner-IR for changes.
âś… The Commissioner may verify business premises before approving changes.
✅ DISCOs/GASCOs will only act upon the Commissioner’s official recommendation.
