📢 SECP Update: End of Physical Share Certificates

Under Section 72 of the Companies Act, 2017, physical shares are being replaced with the Book-Entry system via CDC.

⚠️ From Feb 2026, companies must convert to CDS before:
✔ Share transfers
✔ Bonus/Right shares
✔ Share buy-backs

💡 Good News:
CDC is offering a fee relief package for companies with capital up to Rs. 25
Physical shares = delays & compliance issues.
