✨Re-vist 2022 with me (Work Edition)✨

Scrolling through my photo album brought about lots of emotions, looking back I am grateful for being able to form deeper connections with my Clients & Friends this year! 💛
(Ps. If you’re not inside & we’ve met, means we no photo tgt. Let’s take one the next time we meet okie)

Transiting from a Student Advisor to a full-time advisor, I asked myself how can I elevate the partnership that I have with my clients, hence it brought about the idea of a Specialised On-Boarding Package for my Clients.

It contains:
📝 Personalised Life Script,
📄 Policy Summary,
📞 Emergency Contacts,
🖊️ Pen
(hint: more to come in 2023) ☺️ something for my client to bring along for all the reviews we have!!!

🌻 Lastly, a big Thank You for all the memories & conversations I've had with all of you 🌻

To MOREEE meaningful conversations in 2023 😄

Survey has found that 48% of Singaporeans surveyed do not have a WILL!!!

Some of us think that making a WILL is threateningly inauspicious. Others, who are much more optimistic, prefer not to think about it at all. Here are some reasons on the importance of a WILL and why we should get it done

Reasons why we should do up our WILL:

1. We get to decide how we want to distribute our estate
Without a will, your estate will be distributed according to the Intestate Succession Act and it may not be the most favourable in all family situations.

2. Able to appoint guardian to look after kids
Sometimes, the guardian appointed by the Court may not be the person you believe to be capable enough of bringing up your children. Hence, through a WILL we will be able to appoint a guardian we trust to take care of our children when we are not around for them.

3. Ability to appoint our personal representatives and five them the power to act according to our wishes

A personal representative serves as the executor of the will, and is responsible for ensuring that your beneficiaries receive what they are entitled to. Without a will, your personal representatives will be appointed by law might not be the best people to carry out your wishes.

4. Able to choose own funeral arrangements
A will ensures that your decision to be cremated or buried is respected. Some of us may prefer one practice over another for personal reasons or religious beliefs.

5. Able to ease our family member’s pain during the difficult time
Having a will minimises the possibility of disputes arising amongst your family members, allowing them to mourn their loss in peace without having to negotiate back and forth with lawyers.
