The year is almost over and it is time to get organized!

Make sure you save all important receipts and invoices that can be claimed on your 2025 tax return (filed in 2026) and keep for your personal records.

✅ Example:

If you rent a home, keep documentation for expenses incurred before, during, and after your rental period.

✅ Business Owners:

This same concept applies if you’re self employed or receive 1099 income; such as Uber, DoorDash, Lyft, Instacart, or subcontractor work.

Keep all receipts related to your business expenses, mileage, supplies, and maintenance.
