Nearly 50% of all non-government workers work in small business, and nearly 50% of our country’s economic output comes from small business. On a daily basis we see cities and states granting incredible tax benefits to large corporation. If you think about it, who is paying that subsidy? Small business, which gets no tax abatements, matching grants, gifts or government aid.

📌‼️SCAM NOTICE!
Over the past few weeks millions of notices are circulating - appearing to be from the IRS - asking for your banking information.

PLEASE! If you receive such a notice do NOT CLICK any links or scan any QR codes in the letter.

YES, the IRS is sending some notices in an attempt to comply with the Trump administration's desire to do away with paper checks. HOWEVER, scammers have taken notice of this amazing opportunity for them to cash in.

If you receive such a notice there are two things you can/should do:
1) If you wish to know if a notice was in fact sent to you, you can call the IRS
2) You CAN enter your banking information by going direct to YOUR PERSONAL IRS ACCOUNT (yes, every tax paper has one - if you haven't set up your access you will need to do that - highly recommend) and enter your banking details.

BE CAUTIOUS. SCAMMERS ARE BETTER AND FASTER THAN EVER DUE TO THE HELP OF AI. We must all be diligent. Slow down. Think before acting.

😫Your stomach sinks. There are a thousand 🤹 things you were planning to do and now you hold an envelope 📨 in your hand with a return address screaming IRS.
Try to stay calm. OPEN the envelope NOW. This is the most important first step - do not ignore it. That will only make issues harder to handle, more expensive and keep you in a high level of stress.
Remember, you may be able to handle a simple notice yourself. And if you can't OR shouldn't...there are tax professionals 👩‍💻 (Enrolled Agents, CPAs and Attorneys (only use one who specializes in tax!)) to help. It's what some of us do every day.

Remember: In America a 'public company' has one goal. To feed Wall Street not the employees. It is about returning as much to the shareholders as possible. IMPORTANT: The TOP 10% of households own roughly 90% to 93% of all U.S. stocks, while the BOTTOM 50% hold ONLY about 1% of the equity market.
