Those unfinished tasks aren’t harmless.
They’re taking up mental space, slowing down projects, delaying client communication, and reminding you every day that something still needs your attention.

You may not need more discipline or a better planner.
You may need someone who can take the list, organize it, prioritize it, and start getting things finished.

That’s what effective administrative and operational support should do.

Send me CLEAR THE LIST if you’re ready to turn your backlog into a real action plan.

A business loan is not income. It's a liability that you'll repay over time.

Here's how to record it correctly:

1. Create a loan liability account.

Set up a Long Term Liability or Other Current Liability account (depending on the loan terms).

2. Record the loan deposit.

When the loan funds are deposited into your bank account, categorize the deposit to the loan liability account, not income.

3. Record your loan payments correctly.

Each payment includes:

- Principal, which reduces the loan balance
- Interest, which is recorded as an interest expense

4. Reconcile your loan account regularly.

Compare your QuickBooks loan balance to your lender's statements to ensure they match.

5. Keep all loan documents.
Save your loan agreement, payment schedule, and monthly statements for your records.

Recording business loans correctly helps keep your Balance Sheet accurate, your financial reports reliable, and your books tax ready.

The problem isn’t always that you have too much work.

Sometimes the problem is that the work is scattered everywhere.

One request is buried in your inbox. Another is written on a notepad. Three more are sitting in unread text messages.

A clear system gives every task a place, an owner, a deadline, and a next step.

That means less searching, less second-guessing, and fewer late-night moments when you suddenly remember what you forgot.

Message me ONE PLACE if your business needs a simpler way to track what needs to happen.

Many business owners technically take time away—but spend the entire day wondering what’s waiting for them.

Then they come back to a packed inbox, missed follow-ups, scheduling issues, and a long list of “quick questions.”

Time away should help you recharge, not create a punishment for stepping away.
With reliable administrative support and clear processes, routine work can continue while you’re unavailable.

Message me REAL DAY OFF if you want your business to keep moving when you take a break.

Before you expand, ask yourself:

- Can I afford the additional monthly expenses?

- Do I have enough cash flow to support growth?

- Is customer demand consistent?

- Have I reviewed my pricing and profit margins?

- Have I created a budget for the expansion?

- Do I have enough cash reserves?

- Do I have accurate financial reports to make this decision?

Expanding at the right time can fuel growth.

Expanding too soon can put unnecessary pressure on your business.

Yes, explaining a task takes time.
But doing that task yourself every day, every week, or every month takes far more.

Delegation may feel slower at the beginning because you have to explain the process. Once the task is documented and assigned, you no longer have to carry it.

Ten minutes of training today could save you hours every month.

That’s how you build a business that doesn’t require you to personally touch everything.

Message me STOP DOING IT ALL if you need help deciding what to hand off first.
